I am always sick while here at school. It isn't even funny. Last year I was sick almost every other week with everything from vertigo to the flu.

I have only been here for a little over a week and I already got vertigo (again) and a stomach virus. I still don't have much of an appetite and have lost a fair amount of weight (which concerns me). NOW there is a Swine flu outbreak on campus. I wasn't very concerned before since I got the flu last year and it wasn't so bad, however, the cases so far have been very extreme resulting in vomiting so frequently that the person can't get any liquids in. I don't mind if I get it (and seeing how my roommate seems like she may in fact have it, could happen any time) but I don't want to throw up, not many people do, but I would probably have some kind of break down if I hurled.

Anyway, here's hoping that if I do get the flu of piggies I:
1. Don't throw up
2. Get it before my birthday

I'll take any symptom aside from vomit. Fuck, I'd rather go into a coma than vomit.

Pleasant topic for a "blah" of a day

Much love,

My 2nd year at WWC is getting off to a good start. I already know 3/4 teachers, all of whom are nice enough...one of them is a little spacy, but still nice. Work seems smooth so far. I even think that all of the freshies on my crew seem really nice. I really hope to get to know them better.

On a personal level, not much has changed. I've given myself the goal of being a tad more cheerful and outgoing than last year. It's hard to enjoy school when I intentionally look at it negatively. And I can't really complain about lack of a social life when I don't go out and get one for myself. I no longer walk around with my iPod on. Yep, Quicksilver (my iPod's name) is left in my room while I wander about. I smile more and have actually had a bunch of conversations with people. People that I normally would have never talked to.

Knowing me, this will probably fade with time, but I can still try for now...right?

So, I'm wiping the cobwebs off of this ol' journal in order to do a post or two. I'm not even sure how many people will read this (even though I only had two friends to start off with anyway) or how many more times I'll write until I forget about it again...

So, not much has really gone on for me aside from my first year of college (which was fantastic and flew by)

I re-did my profile layout and even went through my icons and cleaned out the ones which I no longer liked. However, I'm now in need of more icons. I've been on a real Harry Potter and Star Trek high as of lately, so if anyone would be awesome enough to make me icons from either of those I would love you forever.

Let me quickly explain my new default icon: The Painting is called "Judith and her Maid Servant with the Head of Holofernes." It was painted during the Italian Renissance by Artemisia (one of my new favorite artists). She was a strong woman. When she was younger she had been assaulted by her art instructor. Despite intense questioning about the incident (which included thumbscrews) she refused to take the blame. Her rapist went to prison for his crime, something almost unheard of at the time. The man in the painting (Holofernes) had actually been painted in likeness to her attacker, with Artemisia removing his head.

So much for quickly explaining.

Hopefully I will update more often.

Okay, I've already been here for almost a week. I'm surprised how quickly the days have gone by and how much I have adjusted and gotten used to the campus.

Things I've done:
+Signed up for food, not bombs
+Read poetry at an open mic night in front of a professional poet
+came in 2nd place in a game of knockout
+got herpes (long story, I don't really have herpes)
+I've gone to the library and actually took out a book
+made a BFF (she's the cat that lives outside the print shop, Sweetie)
+got my fat ass stuck in a tire swing

We even found a gigantic black snake outside of our dorm room. He's now the mascot of Vining B (I live in Vining A). His name is waffles.

That's about it. Call or text me at: 610-213-0807
Two more weeks.
This summer has gone by far too fast. I'm still pretty numb about the whole college thing. I've written to my roommate and she seems nice enough. Most of my things are bought and I'm pretty-much set.

I feel as though I haven't done anything these past few weeks. I've worked or stayed home. The only time I've really left my house was when I've gone to see movies (8 times if you were curious...).

So, I want to do something aside from watching children or getting myself sick on popcorn.

Movie List:
+Ironman* (for the third time)
+The Hulk
+Get Smart*
+The Dark Knight*
+Mamma Mia!
+The X-Files: I Want to Believe**
+The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

*-Movies I highly recommend
**-" " If you were a fan of the show

Tomorrow is the big graduation. I'm wondering if I should be more excited than I currently am. And I don't just mean the ceremony, I mean the entire going to college thing as well.

The entire moving on and going into the "real world" doesn't seem as scary as it is over played. I kinda want to just get it all over with and get on with my life.

No more loans, scholarship searches and so on...

However, I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited about Warren Wilson. I just hope two things...

+I get along with others and make friends
+I am good at whatever on-campus job they may assign me

Oh well... que sera, sera

Not really, but I feel like it!  This morning I woke up and I couldn't get out form under the covers since I was shaking so much.  I went downstairs and I suddenly got VERY dizzy.  I blacked out on the sofa.  After that, when my eyes were closed I saw a bright ring.   I was all like "wahh...its the light at the end of the tunnel."

I have a 102 fever and haven't left my bed except to use the bathroom.

Right now I'm watching "Robin Hood Men in Tights" and I feel much better than before.  Here's hoping I don't vomit....

I got photoshop back and decided to be an idiot and make icons again.  They suck, I know, but I'm just playing around.

3- Sweeney Todd
4- National Treasure (Riley)
3- Enchanted
3- Ouran High School Host Club
1- Heroes Comic

I hope y'all had a good X-mas.  Mine was pretty good...but I need to get outta my house.  In case you don't know, my family adores family time...I can put up with it, but I've only left the house for 3 things
1.  To visit my aunt
2.  To see national treasure 2 as a family
3.  To see sweeney todd as a family

I'm bored...

I have nothing to do...
and aside from a 192 history of Marvel comics or re-read my HEROES comic none of my gifts can entertain me (and I don't really want to read either).

...I'm hungry...

Oh, also, I took pictures from inside my HEROES comicbook and used those as people's pictures in my cell phone so most people have a nifty hero as their picture...God I'm a loser...

That is all...

Happy Christmas eve...eve...

I hope everyone has a survivable holiday.

I'm excited 'cause tomorrow my family is breaking away from traditional ham or Turkey on X-mas eve to instead have Paella.  for those that don't know, Paella is a traditional Spanish dish with rice, chicken, shrimp, oysters, clams, pork...it is very yumy and I luffs it.

Then, its X-mas...Presents!

Then I visit my Aunts on the 26th...more presents!

A few days of nothing followed by a mother daughter day to see JUNO with Katherine and her mom...I still really wanna see Sweeney Todd...don't think that's gonna happen over break.  This breaks my heart 'cause I'm a fan of the original version and don't just wanna see it cause of Johnny Depp or Tim Burton.  I've been so looking forward to it for months...and yeah...

 Then New years...the end...
